Ideally, I would like to see a Big 12 series of networks - similar to the Fox Sports Regional Channels. I would happily pay the $20/month for those 10 channels. This would be the ideal scenario - each university would be responsible for content and advertising with their network partners (ex. Texas would work with ESPN) but distribution of all the networks would be the responsibility of the Big 12. This still allows that disparity of income (more advertisers for Texas-ESPN, than ISU-Mediacom for example) but each school would share in the revenue from subscriptions.
