Big East?-ESPN Bottomline Report
The ESPN Bottomline Lead just said that the Big East is speaking to Big 12 teams incase the league explodes. They would look to add Kansas, Kansas State, Mizzou and either ISU or Baylor.
This could be good for us...
1. Reports said ISU had an offer to Big East last year if Big 12 dissolved.
2. Keep some rivalries with the other teams from Big 12.
3. Big Time Basketball Conference.
4. A Football conference we would be really competitive in.
5. More Major TV time for Basketball and Football.

Re: Big East?-ESPN Bottomline Report
That should be last resort.
We lose millions.
We lose a lot of Texas recruits.
We spend more in travel expenses.
Would be a step back unless Big East were to get a lucrative TV deal, and the Big East may not even be stable, ACC may poach a few teams.
Everyone should hope the B12 finds a way to do it, or we find a way to snake into Big 10 or PAC 12

Re: Big East?-ESPN Bottomline Report
I don't think we are going anywhere, but why would they add 4 teams to a 9 team league and not 5. Only way would be if one was certain to go. Just more people throwing crap at walls.

If I saw the report right it said and/or for the ISU Baylor part giving more options.

"Lose a lot of Texas recruits."
More like LOSE ALL TEXAS RECRUITS...
Bottom line is this...texas football players do not want to play in a cold climate of the upper midwest or the east coast.... -

Even if the Big 12 is saved by BYU taking A&M's place, the Big East still has over a 50/50 chance of losing a team as the SEC's 14th.

If it's on ESPN we can go ahead and assume it's BS. They've been almost as bad as the bloggers in this whole mess.

Everyone should hope the B12 finds a way to do it, or we find a way to snake into Big 10 or PAC 12 The question is, does $5 million go further in the Big East, than $10 million would in the Big XII?
