Looks like they have a deal in the works to have Texas, Texas tech, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma state join then and Texas gets to keep their network. Looks like it all really going to happen now.

Time for ISU's lawyers to begin suing everyone in sight. PAC, SEC, aTm, UT, OU, OSU, TT,. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if this is ESPN's doing so that they can save money by not having to pay another conference, so sue them too.

The article said they have good proposals or something like that. Still in offering stage, no vote from any school or anything. Still speculation. No definites yet on anything.

I guess we will know pretty soon were all the pieces will fall. We need to hope for the following conferences to react and all try to reach for 16 teams now.

PAC 16: done with this addition
ACC 14: hope they add UCONN and Rutgers
SEC 13: hope they add Missouri, West Virginia, ???
BIG : hope they reach for 4 teams with us being one of them

This isn't new news. This was out an hour or so ago. LHN would have to show some Pac 12 content. Again, so what, we will be fine.

And an espn article about the demise of the Big East.

It was written today that the Big 12 can collect $100,000,000 of exit fees for seed money to build up a conference with the remaining members.

GG/JP better be on a tour of Big 10 country right now convincing all the presidents why we belong in the Big 10 along with Missouri and KU. I don't care where the 4th team comes from to get them to 16 teams.

To say this is getting serious is a major understatement.

I want to hear nothing from our Athletic Department about the Big East. We need to be hard and heavy after the B1G. If we do not end up there our athletic budget is cut by a third next year.
