It's understandable that he had to be cryptic in his comments as I'm sure that he was sworn to secrecy. He was trying to help calm everyone's fears without spilling all that he knew.

He can't be vindicated until the details of the approved conference "reforms" are posted. That's the only way you can judge whether OU was just bluffing, or whether they were turned down by the Pac-12.

Did he end up being right? Yes. But do I have doubts that he actually had ANY idea what was going on when he started these posts a week ago? Doubt it.

And, on this topic, I appreciate that he said what he said, and I think he was jumped on. I'm not about to sing his courageous praises for voicing his hopes and opinions. But, as always, I appreciate his insight.
