Wonder if GG is putting in a good word for L'Ville - he spent his undergraduate days there
Capacity of L'Ville stadium is identical to Jack Trice (55,000)
They would also add the largest basketball arena to the conference
I like the idea of a trip to Morgantown for a game!
I wonder how long it will be before we hear something official about expansion?
Louisville stadium - capacity 55,000
Been to Morgantown and have seen their stadium. It is really nice and right across from a hospital. Its nestled in a valley and has a nice view, similar to BYU.
Interim Commish starts Oct 3 (he said "maybe" Oct 10). I'm sure targets have been evaluated some but the Pitt/'Cuse move may have changed some ideas. We could see BYU picked up right away but any Big East teams will probably take more time to work out.
West Virginia - capacity 60,000
BYU - capacity 64,000
BYU for now.
Louisville and West Virginia later.
The only way to go...no TCU's allowed. They are one coach away from being irrelevant. Naynay seemed to rule out TCU initially on College Gameday this morning. Also very surprised to see most of the nation vote Boise State and TCU as the best potential Big 12 target teams. People were probably sabotaging that poll.
BYU essentially replaces A$M, and they move to the South Division in the future since they love Texas so much. L'ville and WVU to the North Division to replace Nebraska and Colorado, although I'd like to see Oklahoma move to the north with a protected rivalry in Texas.
