    Has anyone actually seen the Longhorn Network?

    I have FiOS so I get it out here in suburban DC. Watching football practice right now. Bastards.

    I saw that I have it when I searched for Cyclones on my guide and saw that they were playing the UCONN game a bazillion times before we played them. I haven't tuned in the channel yet, so no I haven't seen it, only that I actually have it.

    Look at that fall primetime line-up! There's so little there it boggles the mind. NBC couldn't keep the Playboy Club afloat, and it was loaded with T&A. How in heaven's name is ESPN going to earn money off the LHN with the guaranteed payouts they have promised to Dodds? It's crazy.

    The SEC is going to up the TV arms race when they establish their network in a couple years. If the Big 12 fails to realize that they are sandwiched between three media cash machines and do nothing about it, we are going to wind up with the conference we deserve in ten years.

    ESPN is dropping coin on UT thinking they can head off paying more for content from the entire conference.

    Enter "The Big 12 Network" (but don't let Texas in until equal revenue sharing for tier 3). Worthwhile programming of all of the teams, rather than BS filler for one team
