Welcome my friend... At one time, I've lived in Alexandria, VA, then Wheeling, WVA. Back to Des Moines, then to the Seattle area, then to Medford. How far are you from Coos Bay? That's one of my favorite places in all the world.

Re: Good luck from WVU fan
It takes about 2+ hours to get to Coos Bay from here. The roads are not laid out in a very linear way. When I got orders to Nav Fac Coos Head(Charleston) my Mom asked what town that was close to and I told here Coos Bay. She looked surprised and said we have family there. I had never met them but they seemed as happy as I was and it is nice having ready made support. Originally Posted by Psyclone Brian Welcome my friend... What do hicks and hillbillies love? BOOZE! I say we play for some copper tubing and a glass jug. The Sour Mash trophy is born.
Edit; we need a bball trophy too. I nominate a case of Natty Lite and call it the HuggyLarry.

Going to 12 teams would help do this but that is out of my pay grade. On the Internet, nothing is out of our pay grade.

I don't know about you guys, but I would love for WV to join just so we could talk to Rockman. Plus it's a good school for athletics. Good fit for the Big XII!

That is one of a vices the hillbilly portion has. A couple friends and I had a still when I was in High School. It was just a way of life and we made some really good brandy also. Re: Good luck from WVU fan
We could play for a trophy that looked like a moonshine still, filled with natty light, inside of a mini replica of our stadiums since they look so similar, and then the winner of the game gets to either light a couch on fire or light a dumpster on fire.

Re: Good luck from WVU fan
Thank you MissouriCyclone. I know we are viewed as lacking in academics but most of that is there is a WV state law that grants all instate students meeting minimum requirements, access to WVU. I think we are starting a feeder school system based on what Penn State did to deal with the problem. This should have been done years ago, but was not. I know one thing, I have rubbed shoulders with some folks from ivory tower schools and never felt lacking. Re: Good luck from WVU fan
Heck, an ethanol plant is nothing more than an over-sized still. Maybe we could get the Iowa Corn Growers to sponsor the game. Oh, wait, never mind.....

Re: Good luck from WVU fan
You might be on to something. LOL I learned the hard way while in Nebraska about 30% ethanol gasoline. It took 3 fuel filters till I got the fuel line cleaned out. If you regularly use detergent gasoline, it shouldn't have that affect on your fuel system.
