All joking aside, this is a major improvement from Floyd-Casey. Good lord, that place sucks. Being on campus and having that riverside thing going on should really help the atmosphere. Nowhere to go but up.

I really like it and God knows we need it. Every Cyclone that has been to a game @ Baylor knows how crappy our stadium is right now.

There are two building complexes on the site as of Nov 1st. One (the North one) appears to be a defunct motel. The south one looks like an old apartment complex. Also there are a couple (I see four now) of huge main power lines running right through where the stadium is to be built. The lines come from the substation on the west side of the freeway. Other than that it appears that the site is pretty much cleared and ready for construction.
