Welcome to the SEC... What are all of those that said 'this won't affect Texas recruiting' saying now??

They'll try to justify it to other things...nothing to see here I'm sure they'll say

I read through numerous excuses as to why it isn't related to their move, or why the recruits are stupid.
I laughed, silly tiggers.

I think Mizzou going to SEC opens recruiting up in KC even more for KSU, KU & ISU. Recruits family and friends will be able to go to more of their games by playing at KSU, KU or ISU than by going to Mizzou - more games closer to home.

Apparently Boehm is looking around. Wasn't he interested in us because of Knott?

Re: Mizzourah already losing Texas recruiting connections
Could this be a law of unintended consequences? If MU loses Texas recruits and starts shifting their attention towards Florida which we seemed to have success could those recruits we would have been able to pick start going to MU since they do have the SEC tie in?
Also of those Texas recruits that normally would go to MU would we have a chance on?

I laughed, silly tiggers. So you hang out at Tigerboard? Where's Agronomist and his little troll animations when you need him?
I'm sure young Simon Goines has come to the realization that his Texas roots all but REQUIRE him to play for a Big 12 program, and he would agree that the Big 12 is on much more solid footing with the additions of TCU and WVU, and the TV rights deal.
No doubt he felt that neither he nor Missouri would fit in culturally with the SEC, and therefore he reopened his recruitment to other schools...which include both Arkansas and Auburn on his interest list.
Or, he's a 17 year-old kid who's unsure of where he wants to go to college.
Weak sauce...very weak.

I was in KC this weekend, and the mizzou fans I talked to were not happy. They want to keep playing KU, KSU, ISU. Border War is done now, that game was cool.
