It is amazing how hard and fast TT has fallen

Just watched the replay of the ISU vs TT game and before that game they were a scoring machine, since then they have absolutely stunk. Their defense somehow force 6 straight 3 and outs against OU this year. I don't know if ISU has 6 3 and outs against the Sooners in the last 5 years. One thing that really stood out in that game is the tackling by ISU. There was almost no missed tackles and very few yards after contact. Their fall reminds me of ISU when they went to OU as #9 under S. Wallace. After that game everyone seemed to know how to stop ISU.

I must have seen the ISU-TT games ten times. Each time I watch it, I feel bad for TT. They looked every bit of horrible as ISU ever did in lopsided matchups. I think we just broke them as a team just like we did Texas with a 28-21 win in Austin.

It's amazing how quickly they got up but then went right back to being soft.

Re-watch the game again and take a look at how freaking small their defensive line is. It's shocking to see and makes it pretty obvious why we were able to manhandle them at the LOS.

I have no idea how they stopped OU.

I don't, no one every cries for ISU when we get blown out of the water. Suck it Tech. IF there truly is any "breaking of the wills" going on here. It's probably because of people's lopsided perception of ISU. We are no where near contenders for anything, but this is not the same ISU team that teams are used to playing from the 80s and 90s.

Tech especially bothers me though, for what they did to Leach. This couldn't have happened to a better place imo. I only wish they'd have made Craig James coach the team and have this same thing happen.

Exactly. Why would anyone feel bad for Tech? Several times we played them and after their QB had already thrown for 500 yards and 6 tds.... they just kept on throwing the ball. Reminded me of Tom Osborne at Nebby and Bill Snyder at K-State. There was no calling off the dogs when Tech was up. I was glad ISU could return the favor and implode their entire season.

Add me to the list that doesn't feel sorry for TT. I remember a couple games a few years ago when they hung almost 70 on the poor clones....hard to forget that.

I said before that I could see a nice rivalry developing between ISU and Tech with the new schedule. We have been competitive against them at times, not just in football either. Women's BB is very similar down there to ISU and I think we will own them in Men's BB for a while.

There is a lot of good memories for ISU beating Tech. The game in 2002 with the run. The game last year where we actually won a shootout and this year's game where we actually blew someone out.

I think if the Big 12 was smart they would try to encourage this to develop into a full rivalry. The only thing going against it is distance.
