"I've been talking to [athletic director] Bill Byrne for the last couple weeks," A&M President R. Bowen Loftin said Tuesday after serving as guest speaker at the women's basketball luncheon. "We're thinking hard about [the season and the future]."
Loftin said that "the athletic director evaluates coaches after every season," and that "there is no timetable on when a decision will be made."

Has that ever been said and then the guy keeps his job? never. That is code for he is gone once we find out how much we owe him and if anyone else is interested in our job.
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.
I saw our friend Brent Zwerneman said yesterday or today it was 50-50. The last time I saw him throw out 50-50 odds it was on A&M to SEC. Guess we know which way a 50-50 decision goes for the Ags. They like change and like to pass the blame for lack of success.
Colin C on ESPN SN hinted at the same thing today -- but it's anyone's (good) guess. I could not care less. A&M is in the SEC.
DP eluded to it this am too. I didn't think I heard it right though so didn't pay that much attention. I guess by their standards their season was that bad? Good luck in the $EC.
