Re: any chance RGIII goes pro after this year?

The more I hear about and see RGIII play, I keep thinking HOW can they not give him the Heisman. RGIII is hands down the most valuable player to his team, he is an electrifying talent and he is the epitome of the scholar athlete in the fact that he is so successful in his academics as well as on the athletic field. If RGIII does not win the Heisman and it goes to a 1,500 yard rusher from Alabama I will cry foul. That would be an even bigger travesty than OSU not making the NC game.

Robert Griffin III is an extremely gifted individual. He will be playing in the NFL. He is very intelligent. As such, he will realize that it would be foolish to play another year of college ball and will decide to play in the NFL. He will make money now instead of risking that much money on a career ending injury by staying at Baylor another season. Once he is finished with the NFL he can go back to law school if he wants to.

Agreed. I want to hate him, I really do; but I just can't seem to manage it.

Any bets on if RGIII becomes president of the US at age 35?

A former college football player will never become president.

    Signed,

    Gerald Ford

Re: any chance RGIII goes pro after this year?

RGIII is hands down a great player and extremely articulate. Wow. He seems like the epitome of what you would want in a pro QB. Extremely smart and extremely gifted and with a dose of humility and appreciation of the efforts given by others in respect to his accomplishments. His throws were like darts on the deep balls. And he can move.

Luck will most likely be #1 because of his size and he is a great prospect as well. But I would definitely put RGIII in the top 5 at the very least. If he wants to play ball, NOW is the time to strike. He was injured once and rehabbed and came back. That has to be going through his mind right now.

If he does, he will transform the White House South Lawn into a football field.

Re: any chance RGIII goes pro after this year?

I would be shocked if he didn't go pro. His draft stock after winning the heisman is the highest it will probably ever be. He will probably be a top 10 pick. I don't think he has that much to gain by staying one more year and has a lot to lose. Even if he wants to go to law school he is a smart guy and could put some money away. Then he could go to law school when he is done playing.

Re: any chance RGIII goes pro after this year?

Even if RGIII goes pro, Baylor still has a pretty talented team. Briles is doing to Baylor what CPR is on the verge of doing at ISU; turning their programs into respectable, competitive teams. There may be a bit of a dropoff in the Baylor team, but not to the this-is-an-easy-win-on-the-schedule status they used to be.

He should go Pro. Nothing left to prove. Adam Shefter just reported a few GMs actually Like RG III better than Luck. I agree with this - mobility is huge in the NFL.

Any chance? I'd say there is a 100% chance he declares for the NFL draft. He'll be a top 10 pick. Didn't work out so well for Luck to stay another year.
