    Fans Hurt Rushing the Field

    I watched as the goal posts came down, and thought they collapsed pretty quick. I wondered if everyone was able to get out of the way. Sounds like some of the fans were hurt jumping from the stands themselves, and others were trampled. Not a good situation.

    I miss being able to disfigure the goal posts like we did in the Iowa 2005 game. What the point of having the ROTC people guard the goal posts if they are indestructible anyway?

    Our walls are nine feet high, most of the injuries were rolled ankles. One guy tried to slide down a tarp covering the tunnel where the players come out and it collapsed (at least that's what has been said by people who were there). That's a twenty foot fall or so. And he/she did not land on their feet.
