When they pry that clipboard out of his cold dead fingers. (pry isn't short for probably)

True, but then again I had a close family member die from epilepsy complications so it is probably on my mind more.

But, hey, that doesn't mean we can't joke about it.

Yeah, I wasn't thinking much about the seizures more of how purple his face can get on the sidelines. Looks like a coronary waiting to happen.

we will own k-state next year if we can stop their qb at the line of scrimmage.
plus we will have a three way competition at qb with richardson in the mix. i expect good things out of robert standard and nealy ,too. i think standard could be one of our best backs ever at isu if he stays healthy. paul rhoads will own grandpa snyder. i also like the de and lb from blinn college. i think those two athletes have a good opportunity to start on defense. we will have a very decent bunch of linebackers with the addition of the blinn lb and a good set of defensive ends with addition of the blinn de. happy new year. go cyclones in the pinstripe bowl

I love your positive outlook and I really hope you are right. I've just seen Grandpa beat us too many times to say anything for sure. Ask me at the beginning of this season and I'd have told you I was pretty confident KSU was going to be a win for us as well this year.

It's been so close the last three years, it's going to be at home for once, and Rhoads is quickly running out of other monkeys to get off his back. I'm feeling pretty confident that finally getting one over K-State is going to be one of the signature accomplishments of the 2012 squad.

I'm really hoping for OU in 2012.

That would be our Okie St. equivalent. Beating K-State would be more like beating Iowa this year.

Snyder is under contract through the 2013 season....seems like a good point to step down, 73 or so right?

Hopefully they bring Ron Prince back!!!!

Snyder will be 74 by the end of the 2013 season.

Re: When does Bill Snyder leave again?

Snyder promised freshman QB Daniel Sams that barring health problems he would not retire until Sams had used all his time and then he redshirted the kid. That tells me Bill will be around for 4 more seasons at least. Sooooooooooo, he has at least four more years to groom son Sean, current special teams coach, to follow in his footsteps. Sean is in his 40s so football rivals could possibly cringe at mention of the name Snyder for another 3 decades.

Folks, he's been dead for years. He sold his soul to the devil. How do you think he got KSU football to become relevant?
