Stoops apologizes to KF for last TD..

If you listen to the meeting of the coaches at the end of the Iowa-OU game, Stoops says, "sorry about that last TD." to KF. Classy move. I think Stoops was trying to hold the score down against Iowa.

They were just trying to get the first down, then run out the clock, but then no one tackled him on that carry.

Stoops and Ferentz are long-time friends. Doesn't mean Stoops would be sorry to do that anyone who wasn't a long-time friend. But it was clear OU was running out the clock. Can't expect the runner to tackle himself.

It's not Stoops' fault that Iowa's defense couldn't stop Bell. What was Bell supposed to do after getting across the first down line, just take a knee?
It's not like OU ran a fade route to the endzone.

Bobby runs the score up whenever he gets the chance. I remember his starting QB in the 4th qtr up by 42 points against us throwing the ball from the 10 yard line for another TD...only to have it picked off and returned for 6. Was our only points of the game. Only thing that would have made it better was if the QB would have gotten hurt on the play.

Screw Bob Stoops. If that was any other team he would have had no problem with the TD. Remember throwing the ball on 4th down against us this year late in the game. He is the master of running up the score.

Bob Stoops is a ****** and a Hawkeye but those two things aren't mutually exclusive.

Smug POC. I'm no iowa fan, but if i'm Ferentz i would have said something like, "no biggie, I told them to let them score because our offense needs work and we need a few more reps going into next spring."

They were only up by 10 at the time, nothing wrong with punching it in to make it a three score game even if there is only a few minutes left.
