Re: 2012 Big12 OOC Games
Well, the Big 12 should start off the year 1-0 vs. the SEC.
I hope ISU can go 3-0 non-con next year. Tulsa's a good team, and he Iowa game is in Kinnick, so it will be difficult.

Hopefully, the conference can come up with a couple of marquee match-ups. OU-ND has some promise, and if Rich Rod can put the team together, OSU-AZ could be interesting.

Nice to see Texas Tech keeping alive its streak of not playing a meaningful OOC game. Though I suppose their TBA could turn into a BCS matchup, but I won't hold my breath.

Re: 2012 Big12 OOC Games
Why doesn't big game Bob do the Mountaineers a solid and take the Seminoles off their hands? Seems like a simple solution....
Shouldn't all the Big East teams that were scheduled to have TCU on their docket have another team they need to schedule? That's tougher to make work for OU because it comes during the conference portion of the year.
Misery and Aggy both should have another schedule slot to fill going from nine conference games back to eight. There's options out there.

South Dakota State (FCS)
Rice (CUSA)
@Northern Illinois (MAC)
I hope they get beat by all three.

Re: 2012 Big12 OOC Games
Not gonna lie, that is pretty weak.
In order,
1.) OU vs ND
2.) Okie Lite vs ASU
3.) Texas vs Ole Miss
4.) Kansas State vs Miami
5.) ISU vs Iowa

I don't know Texas Tech vs. Texas State is a big in-state rivalry.

Re: 2012 Big12 OOC Games
Did Ron Prince schedule the KSU-Miami series?
That does not sound like the Bill Snyder we all know and loathe.

Pretty weak OOC, is there really that many open dates for that many teams next year?

I see tech, kansas & Baylor really decided to challenge themselves this year Originally Posted by AltHawk Why would it? One bad game doesn't change a thing. Iowa will still be a darkhorse B1G championship contender, and Iowa State will be lucky to make the NIT. -
Re: 2012 Big12 OOC Games
This is pathetic.
ISU should go 3-0 with this schedule.

Re: 2012 Big12 OOC Games
Cant blame big 12 teams for taking an easier route with adding a 9th conference game. Remember before most had one BCS team and then 3 easier games, its the same now for, just one is in the conference.
Being halfway to bowl eligibility before conference always helps.
