Missouri FINALLY wins a BXII title

Granted it was wrestling and there are only 4 teams, but it's a shame nonetheless.

That is one title they can take with them and hang on to forever. Does the SEC even have wrestling? Whatever happened to wrestling at Iowa State, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State? They were outstanding programs at one time. Don't throw rocks at me because I am not dissing ISU. I am not a wrestling fan but also know that it was not uncommon for these three schools to finish in the Top 5 or 10 at the NCAAs.

I thought OSU was having a decent year. I didn't even realize Mizzourah had a good team.

Could have sworn OSU was #2 at one point this season. Not sure how they didn't win it. God do I hate Missouri though.

Are they considered Big XII champs or just Big XII tournament champs like they do it with basketball? Either way, what a terrible, terrible athletic department. they should fire everybody and start over from scratch.

OSU was most recently ranked #3 nationally so they threw up.

Finishing fourth out of four, finishing so far behind MU and OSU in the final team scores and finishing with only 3 automatic NCAA qualifiers is a huge disappointment.

This seems to be a bad as it's ever been.

Give it a couple more years. There are reasons for optimism.

Sounds like McDermott. Still I will say that the cupboards were pretty bare after Cael left.

IMO, kj has next year and has to show marked improvement. Going with kj really hurt us with recruiting temporarily. He didn't have wrestlers to follow him, like brands and Cael, and didnt have the inroads to schools built yet. Kj knows wrestling, but had to learn the ropes and systems of college.

ISU Wrestling belongs in the Top 5 every year. We should always be 1 or 2 in the Big 12. This year is horribly disappointing.

The correct decision will be made. We have to wait for the new recruits to get into school, redshirt and then win. We cannot wait for the new recruits to get into school and redshirt. There are too many holes to fill. It's 50-50. Take your pick. The decision wil be made. It just may not be made publicly.

I've always advocated patience with KJ, but Saturday's showing at conference has me feeling uneasy. Certainly you don't make a coaching decision based on one day's performance, but that was really, really bad. I think KJ needs one more year to see if he can right the ship. If the team doesn't have a "respectable" performance at NCAA's in Des Moines next year, then it's time to move in a new direction.
