Each team in the Big XII can then get their own Tier 3. Therefore, the new Big XII deal is actually worth more - potentially alot more....

Re: New TV Deal
I'm sure the Big 12 doesn't have very skilled, very smart, very highly paid people to take care of ALL this stuff.
Sure, they might not make the right move every time, but I guaran-damn-tee they'll do a better job than a bunch of fans on a message board. Unless of course we have some TV deal experts in the house...

Re: New TV Deal
From 30,000 feet --- Every game guaranteed to be televised, that was deal with new tier 2 deal and now add espn coverage and $20-$25 mill a year. There is zero to complain about, think of where we stood two years ago. This is freakin great. Details and stadium expansion to follow.

Re: New TV Deal
I.don't remember, where would this put us at for a total? Tier 1 and 2 together.

Re: New TV Deal
Unless I am not reading this properly, this sounds really good for ESPN, not so good for the Big 12. Is the Fox deal for Tier 2 going to pay as much as a Tier 1 deal? if this is true, terrible terrible terrible.
Hold out for more money and more competition. Fox could go for Tier 1, NBC could go for Tier 1 and then ESPN/ABC would have to up the ante.
