When will Big 12 expansion be announced, and who will be in?

My guess is announcement in mid June, with Florida State and Clemson. I know there are denials, but that seems to go with all of this.

I don't think we'll see an announcement this summer. FSU and Clemson are possibilities, but they need to see how everything will shake out with the finalizing of the Big 12 contract, the SEC contract and the 4 game championship. At best, those issues will not be finalized until mid-summer. The Big 12 won't want to move forward with 2 of Rutgers, Louisville and BYU if some combination of FSU, Georgia Tech, Miami, Virginia Tech, Maryland and Clemson are real possibilities.

that in an effort to sway the power away from their hated neighbor, Texas, OU President Boren and the state regents will push for inclusion of six Oklahoma schools to make the Big 12 the first "Super 16 Conference." Schools favored for inclusion are Tulsa U, Oral Roberts U, Oklahoma City U, U of Central Oklahoma, Northeastern State U, and Oklahoma Panhandle U, who was slated for inclusion only after a ******* match with Northwestern Oklahoma U.

Louisville is a lock IMO.

There will be others though and we won't expand unless we can include a quality team or 3 with Louisville. (read ACC teams)
