Ah, the Expansion Geyser keeps erupting. My question is: If this be serious stuff, if the aforementioned schools are ready to jump to the bigxii, why would we take more than two of them? The best obvious choices would be ND and FSU. Get back to 12, a championship game, and reasonable and repeatable scheduling, rather than the nightmare of scheduling for 14 or more. Tell Clemson and L'ville., Thanks for your interest, but not this time.'

Screw that - I want the recruiting pipeline into the Yukon Territory. They'd be used to playing in cold weather and they already live in a place that has fewer people than Ames, so it'd be an easy sell.

I think the the likelihood of ND joining the Big12 is low, but it would be quite the road trip to watch CPR bring the Cyclones out on Notre Dame's field. The stadium is actually a dump, but the atmosphere on campus on game day is one of the best in college football.

Notre Dame is not joining the Big 12. To quote Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly:
