If this is true, look for Pac12 to make moves soon...and if Maryland is paying 50 mil buyout then no one is safe. 14 or 16 looks like the new normal.

They may want to make a move, but unless they go all the way to the east coast or go with non-BCS teams, there is no one to join the Pac12 right now. There is no reason why all major conferences have to have the same number of teams. No time in history has that been the case, so no reason to think that it will be now.

I'm not a 247 subscriber, but it looks like their Maryland Publisher has a story that the B10 is projecting 40 mil/yr tv revenues for Maryland/Rutgers...

They may want OU and Texas, but they won't get them. GOR is rock solid. No team from Big 12 is going anywhere. That is why you never hear anything about any Big 12 teams in any expansion rumors from anyone unless you go to Tigerboard.

I'm neutral in terms of expanding but I think FSU and Clemson would be excellent adds to the conference.

I like those additions as an Iowa fan. Both will add revenue while not being someone that I'm afraid that Iowa will lose to every year. Not to mention that Iowa likes to recruit those two areas so them being in the same conference would help.
