Iowa's schedule just got easier.
If that punk of a conference doesn't go to 9 games that would be an absolute joke.
You could only play the 6 teams on your side and only 2 from the other?
At least with a 9 game conference schedule and 12 teams with divisions. You can play 5 of your division and 4 out of the 6 in the other. Playing 2 of 7 would be stupid.

But can GT be justified as it's not a "contiguous state" with the Big Ten's footprint? I can't believe the Big Ten sources offered that up as a legitimate justification for choosing UMD and Rutgers...as if they give one solitary **** about that.
