10 Cities asked to bid for Champions Bowl
Take it for what it's worth because this is a random Twitter person but it'll be an interesting discussion. What city would you want the bowl in? I'll put up a poll and there would be an "other" option. For places like KC, Chicago etc.
Dallas
New Orleans
Atlanta
Phoenix
Houston
Orlando
Nashville
San Antonio
Tampa

Chicago and KC could be pretty chilly that time of year.

It will probably be in Dallas, Atlanta, Houston, and New Orleans the vast majority of the time.

Re: 10 Cities asked to bid for Champions Bowl
Well I just thought of those two cities off the top of my head.
I like the thought of Nashville or Houston because those are truly Neutral besides Vanderbilt...

Dallas, keep it in Big 12 territory.

Re: 10 Cities asked to bid for Champions Bowl
If you want to keep in mind the tourist perspective (for players and fans) there isn't a better place than San Antonio. If you are speaking strictly from a game/stadium perspective, Dallas would be the way to go.

Re: 10 Cities asked to bid for Champions Bowl
It either needs to be in a neutral site or rotate every other year
-
Re: 10 Cities asked to bid for Champions Bowl
Dallas is the obvious choice, but New Orleans is way more fun before and after the game.

Re: 10 Cities asked to bid for Champions Bowl
Why do I have a feeling that this will somehow become an SEC dominated cluster by the time it is all over?
-
Re:10 Cities asked to bid for Champions Bowl
It seems really, really unlikely that this game will rotate between cities. It's going to be hard to find one that's considered a neutral site by all, but still readily accessible to fans of both conferences.

Detroit or Indy. Tired of watching SEC/Southern schools get home field advantage in the post season.
