Houston submitted a 12-year bid on Tuesday to host the new Big 12-SEC bowl and join the rotation for semifinal games in college football's new postseason format that will begin in the 2014 season. The game would be played at Reliant Stadium, home of the NFL's Houston Texans.
Cotton Bowl organizers have also expressed interest in hosting the game at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas and officials affiliated with the Chick-fil-A Bowl in Atlanta are also interested in joining the rotation.
Huston is a good place to have the game went there when ISU played there for a bowl game awesome place good venue.. easy to get to via the tram. it would be a good fit for a new place.

The cotton bowl won't be going away will it? Already have a bowl in that venue.
I think I heard the original Cotton Bowl agreed to pony up some money for modernizing that stadium to keep the Red River Rivalry there, is it possible they move the Cotton Bowl game back to the Cotton bowl and let Jerry World host the Champions Bowl?
The only bigger turnoff than finding out a woman smokes, is finding out she's a Husker fan.
