if we can get 1-2 win conference seasons from TCU and TTech, the b12 might get 8 of 10 teams in the tourney this year. need those teams to be crappy so the rest of the conference can get those wins.

Sorry if this has already been posted (the new search seems kindof spotty), but apparently some Tech ball players went to the AD and complained about Gillispe, and now Gillispe's in the hospital for something? Seems like a whole lot of strangeness coming out of Lubbock...

throw in his hospitalization and the reports that he was basically absent for the month of July and it points to something odd going down.

[QUOTE=JBone84;3025644]Shocking to learn that Billy G is a jerk.
After your 3rd DUI arrest most guys would/should have a chat with the man in the mirror.
My bet is that he asks for and is granted some time off to "regain his bearings".
Reading this makes me so thankful that we've got a class-act human being leading our MBB program. We'll probably have some down years on the court under CFH, like with any other coach, but I have absolutely no worries whatsoever that anyone will ever have to read trash like this about him.
...because he's so successful that other teams hire him away. Kentucky is the only team that didn't want him anymore.
Don't get me wrong the guy is probably a complete dick and I've read things about him that lend to that. But, I wonder if kids a couple of decades ago would have put up with his crap and have been better for it in the long run. (I do recognize there comes a point where enough is enough and that could be the case here.)

Doesn't sound good.
Billy's problems sound a lot like the problems LE had while at ISU. A great X's & O's guy and he knows the game. But man was he hard on players. Probably a similar drinking problem too.
Paging doc Sadler, paging doc sadler.
Thank god we dodged that particular bullet.
