Mrs. isukendall mentioned that there is a couch-burning altar that she helped build during her Greek days, located here. They actually got a grant from the city to build a brick patio for gathering; before it was halfway finished, I told her a couch would be burned on it within a week of completion. Apparently it has been rebuilt, awaiting the WVU Mountaineers in all of their couch-burning glory.

Great couch burning story, who I'm sure many have had the same experience:

Carrying a couch to a triangle with my roommate "Duder" (which simultaneously maintains his anonymity yet completely gives it away), who had a couch in one hand, a jug of gas in the other hand, and a lit cig in his mouth.

Sometimes I'm convinced we're lucky we lived through college.

Those Greek triangles are wonderful for burning couches. I am actually amazed that any grass grows there.
