If you think Snyder lives til 2022 you have another thing coming. I'm shocked he's gonna make it past 2012

I think if they manage to go to and win a BCS bowl this year he is gone. It would be the perfect time to ride off into the sunset again, and since it's K-State that opportunity isn't guaranteed to come twice.

When did Gary Patterson accepted the K-State job? Not necessarily doubting you, I've just never heard that before. I realize he played at K-State, but other than that, don't you think K-State is a lateral move at best from TCU? Especially now that TCU is in the Big 12. Obviously going home can be extremely important, depending on the person. But I would also assume he considers Texas home now too since he's been there so long.

Plus they have to wait for other guys to get academically ineligible at other schools, then they get them.

When Ron Prince originally got fired, supposedly Gary Patterson accepted the job (he is a kstate grad and from a small town in Kansas), but Kevin Keitzmann* and the guy that run GoPowerCat.com announced the move before Gary cold tell TCU and his players. After this happened Gary told KSU thanks but no thanks.

*Keitzmann owns 810 radio in KC and does a radio show on it. World class d-bag.

Interesting, thanks for the info. I wonder if that would sour him on the idea of possibly going again. That would obviously be a home run hire by K-State. Hopefully it doesn't happen. I'm looking forward to K-State going back to the Ron Prince type era.

I think he has a plan for that. He's spent the last few years splitting his soul and having the pieces divided up into 7 different horcruxes. Then, when his body dies, he'll be reborn as a face on the back of KSU's Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher's head.... or maybe it will be Brent Venables head. He hasn't decided.

throw "I say" into your post 3 or 4 times and you'd sound like Foghorn Leghorn. Just an observation.

I also agree that Bill Snyder is the best coach of our generation. Took a bunch of guys that couldn't get into other schools, stuck them in a wheat field in the middle of Kansas where they couldn't get in trouble, run 10 plays on offense and put anybody with any athleticism on defense. Play superb special teams. Don't turn the ball over or commit penalties. Before Snyder got there Kstate was the worst program in D1 football, then Prince, then Snyder came back. I'm hoping they get another turd up there after Snyder rides on his rascal into the sunset.

That was Bill Self. If you search for Snyder 2022 the only result is CycloneFanatic where that poster was quickly called out for being wrong.
http://www.cyclonefanatic.com/forum/...ct-2022-a.html (KSU and Bill Snyder agree to extend contract to 2022.)

    No extension for Snyder.
We need to make that an ad banner on the front page, with an arrow pointing to it. So the question stops being asked every time a K-State thread comes up.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.
