Re: K-State only has 8 commits. 2 are from iowa
I think if they manage to go to and win a BCS bowl this year he is gone. It would be the perfect time to ride off into the sunset again, and since it's K-State that opportunity isn't guaranteed to come twice.

Not necessarily doubting you, I've just never heard that before. I realize he played at K-State, but other than that, don't you think K-State is a lateral move at best from TCU? Especially now that TCU is in the Big 12. Obviously going home can be extremely important, depending on the person. But I would also assume he considers Texas home now too since he's been there so long.

Plus they have to wait for other guys to get academically ineligible at other schools, then they get them. Man did Arthur Brown Jr. pan out......

When Ron Prince originally got fired, supposedly Gary Patterson accepted the job (he is a kstate grad and from a small town in Kansas), but Kevin Keitzmann* and the guy that run GoPowerCat.com announced the move before Gary cold tell TCU and his players. After this happened Gary told KSU thanks but no thanks.
*Keitzmann owns 810 radio in KC and does a radio show on it. World class d-bag.

That would obviously be a home run hire by K-State. Hopefully it doesn't happen. I'm looking forward to K-State going back to the Ron Prince type era.

I also agree that Bill Snyder is the best coach of our generation. Took a bunch of guys that couldn't get into other schools, stuck them in a wheat field in the middle of Kansas where they couldn't get in trouble, run 10 plays on offense and put anybody with any athleticism on defense. Play superb special teams. Don't turn the ball over or commit penalties. Before Snyder got there Kstate was the worst program in D1 football, then Prince, then Snyder came back. I'm hoping they get another turd up there after Snyder rides on his rascal into the sunset.

I say uh, I say, wouldn't this work with pretty much any post?
I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong. -
