K-State only has 8 commits. 2 are from iowa
i cringe thinking about what these boards would be like if we only had 8 verbals at this point in the season, especially considering the phenomenal season the mildcats are having.
how in the crap do they only have 8 commits? solid coaching staff who aren't going to bail for greener pastures, decent (recent) tradition. just doesn't make sense.
guess i don't care too much, more power to us i guess if the numbers stay low and unimpressive.
only other bcs offers for all recruits combined: kansas (1), indiana (1), colorado (1). not that other offers means that much. but def. like it when other big programs are also interested in the recruits we eventually get. yikes snyder. yikes.

It always works out for Snyder. Don't worry.

lots of speculation that Snyder is done after this year. Wonder if that has something to do with it.
Plus they have to wait for other guys to get academically ineligible at other schools, then they get them.
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come. -

I think Snyder's age has to have at least a slight impact on kids. Not only is there question on stability but I would think it would just be hard to relate. Still, it's surprising they only have that many with the season they have had.

Its alright Gary Patterson has already accepted that job once, will probably take it again if its offered.

Bill could make a team with 1 stars as he runs only ten offensive plays to perfection.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

That was Bill Self. If you search for Snyder 2022 the only result is CycloneFanatic where that poster was quickly called out for being wrong. http://www.cyclonefanatic.com/forum/...ct-2022-a.html (KSU and Bill Snyder agree to extend contract to 2022.)
No extension for Snyder.

Could it be recruits think the chance is very high they'd have to carry their coaches dead body off the field one day?

There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams -

Snyder has his own fertile training ground with the JUCO's in Kansas. They will probably have a full class before signing, and the JUCO's know they are going to K State. They recruit a lot of them, and enough seem to pan out. I like what Rhoads is building better. But you can't argue with their success.
