TT will be a fit for Cincy.

Shoot, I would guess even CPR answers that question without a definite yes or no.

I agree with you regarding his skirting the direct question from the recruits... taking off from the dinner is what got me.
Dan Patrick was talking about Tuberville giving the excuse that college coaches are "hired guns" anymore. I understand the business end of things, but there is still a way to carry yourself and act with some dignity. I can't imagine CPR acting with such little class even if he did decide to leave ISU for another position somewhere.
Re: Tommy Tuberville to Cincinatti?
If you remember, I think an SEC guy was on this board when Tech hired him that said we'd all learn to hate him and his antics.
Re: Tommy Tuberville to Cincinatti?
I didn't read through the whole thread, so please excuse if the issue with his wife's (or is it ex-wife) car accident has been discussed.
Could there be bigger issues the Tubberville's are dealing with since the accident, where she was charged with running a red light and hitting another car, with one of the passengers - an elderly man, died three months later?
Maybe they need to get out of town.

You mean Tubs wife wanted to leave Lubbock? As far as killing people goes; Kelly killed that kid in South Bend and nothing happened...

Yes, I was just bringing that up as a possible additional factor in the decision, among others. She was definitely charged with the traffic violation, but I don't believe she was charged when the victim died a couple months later. I just think it would be very uncomfortable and possibly a contributing reason to move.
Not sure what you mean about Brian Kelly killing somebody.

Closest thing I can think of for Kelly would be the student who died taping practice when the scissor lift collapsed in the wind, or however that went.
Not sure that's something that can really be pinned on Kelly, but that's the closest I've got.

He put a student up on a hydraulic lift in 30 mph winds because he needed practice to be videotaped. The lift fell over, and the student died.
Re: Tommy Tuberville to Cincinatti?
Brian Kelly ordered a ND grad student onto a tower to record football practice from above on a day that had 60 mph wind gusts. The tower went down and the 20 year old student was killed. Right before he died, he tweeted:
"Gusts of wind up to 60 mph today will be fun at work ... I guess I've lived long enough."
Practice continued while trainers attended to the dying grad student.
ND student said winds 'terrifying' before death - Notre Dame Central- NBC Sports
Re: Tommy Tuberville to Cincinatti?

Well you don't make it to the national title game by stopping practice for minor issues. I'd say Kelly knew what he was doing.
Re: Tommy Tuberville to Cincinatti?
Oh, thanks for the reminder.
So what charges do you all feel should be leveled on Kelly - some kind of manslaughter-related?
Getting back to Tubby's wife - she was definitely charged & convicted with running a red light and crashed her car into an elderly couple. a couple months later one of the passengers died.
