I'm definitely a Big XII homer, but thought it very interesting that Sagarin rankings put the Big XII ahead of the SEC. Makes sense to me - SEC is very top heavy and certainly has the best teams at the top, but the bottom is horrible. Whereas Big XII has the best nonconference record, and any team could beat any other team on a given day (only exception being Kansas). Pretty impressive to put 9/10 teams in bowl games.
Been saying it for some time. There is no conference with more depth than the big 12. The problem for the big 12 is our top isnt quite as strong, and our top team isnt one of the major 'brands' (if UT was at the top, i think the big 12 would be valued more)
