Big XII bowl record this bowl season

You're right about the records. If they were in the Big 12, their records would be WORSE. Nine conference games, only three cupcakes.

I will give you Mizzou and Arkansas for the sake of I'm too lazy to argue on a Sunday morning.
But, Tennessee only won their non-conference games against some horrible competition, and then they beat Kentucky. Nothing on their schedule suggests they would have done better in another conference. In fact, if they played in the Big 12, who only gets to play 3 non conference games not 4, one could argue that they would have an even worse record.

So, they SEC has 3 teams on par with Kansas. The SEC had 5 teams that couldn't even get to 6 wins, with the luxury of scheduling 4 non conference games. The Big 12 only had 1 team that couldn't get to 6 wins, with the toughness of only scheduling 3 non conference games.

Yes, the top of the SEC is the best there is. And my point still stands that the Big 12 is deeper.

Well, the Big 12 is certainly "less deep" with the loss of Texas A&M, isn't it? And people on here claimed that they were no big loss...

Dave They beat the almighty Nc State who isn't a powerhouse but a solid team this year with a future Nfl starter at qb so I will not give You Tennessee. I do however see your point on what conference is deeper but at the end of the day another Conference needs to win a Championship before I even consider putting another conference in the same sentence as the Sec. I really do despise the Sec for the record too but my eyes see what they see.

Funny how a team 1 year out of the Big 12 goes into the SEC and is the only team to beat their National Title team, at Bama.
Too bad Mizzou sucks, then we'd have a legit case of the middle of the pack Big 12 being better than the top of the SEC.

Klamath football isn't played on a computer, if it was we would have it decide who plays in the Championship o wait..... My opinion still stands Tennessee wins 3-5 Conference games in any other conference They played a really tough Conference schedule and were very competitive in a lot of the games.

Tennessee would beat Kansas and maybe Iowa State if they were in the Big 12. Tennessee's defense would be on par with Baylor, KU, and WVU's defenses, but Tennessee's offense isn't remotely close to anything that Baylor and WVU trot out there. Tennessee wouldn't win 6 games in the Big 12 this year.

Are you Saying Conference wins? I don't think they go 6-3 in the conference but there overall record they would certainly have more than 6 wins probably 7

well yeah but the SEC has 14 teams to the Big 12's 10. I wouldn't say the Big 12's deeper just more balanced from top to bottom. If you took the top 9 teams from each league, the SEC has the better group of 9.

So you prefer biases over numbers? According to computers the Big12 is the best conference top to bottom. Tennessee might have won 3-5 games in the Big10. In fact, I they would probably be bowling this year if they got to play that schedule. But just because the Big12 lacked a NC contending team doesn't make it a weak conference.
