3 non-conference wins. Plus Kansas, Iowa State (for argument's sake). Where is the 6th and 7th win coming from? Baylor? Tennessee's defense can't stop anyone, let alone the top offense in the nation
WVU? The game would be similar to Baylor
K-State? No.
Oklahoma? No.
Texas? No.
TCU? No.
Okie State or Texas Tech? Probably not since they have good offenses and decent enough defenses.

In a completely objective measure, however, Tennessee was only better than Kansas in the Big 12. Any more than one win in conference would be an upset victory. They couldn't pull it off in the #2 SEC conference, so what makes you think they could get two to four upsets in the #1 Big 12?

Your definition of "deeper" aka "skim off the cream" is pretty much the opposite of what "deeper" means.

If tennessee has the same schedule as Iowa state they beat baylor at there house same for West Virginia, and win at Kansas. Also they beat Texas Tech at home so there is your 4 conference wins and 7 overall. Guarantee Tennessee is the favorite during the season in all those scenarions I just listed. Sorry about the stupid statement I hope I didn't hurt your feelings.

There's a reason SOS generally goes Big 12, Pac 12, SEC, in that order.

As far as captain Obvious the only obvious point I'm making that anyone who covers college Football with a living would agree with is the Sec is hands down #1

Tennessee's defense sucks balls and they don't have the offensive fire power to outscore another team, like Baylor and WVU do. Tech has a good enough offense and defense that they would beat Tennessee.

Re: Big XII bowl record this bowl season
So how many points does Big 12's number 2- Oklahoma beat the Sec's 6 th best team- Texas A&m is 14-17 a fair Number?

If Tennesse Was playing the defenses in the Big 12 they would have more than enough offensive firepower. The biggest discrepancy between the two conferences is on the defense of side of the ball not the offense.

Maybe the SEC has the perception of such good defenses because many of the offenses are pretty inept. Maybe the Big 12 has the perception of playing no defense because many of the offenses are explosive. The biggest discrepancy between the two conferences is on the offensive side of the ball not the defense.
Also, regarding the bolded. It's hard to take your argument seriously with that glaring error in your post.
Look, we get it. You hate the Big 12 and its hard for you to even entertain the possibility of the Big 12 possibly being the best conference in the nation this year.

Re: Big XII bowl record this bowl season
The SEC is a clear #1 IMO. Not many non-B12 homers think otherwise.
I do think the B12 has established itself as a clear #2 in recent years though
