man that was an ugly kick but I'll take it.
Re: Minnesota vs. Texas Tech (Meineke Car Care Bowl)
Wow that was a ******* ugly kick too
Re: Minnesota vs. Texas Tech (Meineke Car Care Bowl)
Wouldn't be bowl season if Minnesota wasn't choking a win away, never fails
Re: Minnesota vs. Texas Tech (Meineke Car Care Bowl)
That kick makes Grant Mahoney blush.
Re: Minnesota vs. Texas Tech (Meineke Car Care Bowl)
Really makes me mad all over again that we lost to TT. The fact that we could not run at all against them shows that the ISU offense is just not very good at all. The OL play this year has been marginal at best. Hopefully there will be at least some threat of completing a pass down field next year to make other teams defense play back a little.

This is probably why Minnie only sold 2k tickets.

Yeah, that's extremely concerning that we couldn't run against TT. Minny was getting yards by the ton on the ground on them.... and through the air as well I might add. TT's defense looked awful.

Problem is we started the wrong QB that game.

Gophers have struggled at QB all year. The Nelson kid might be good with more experience. The #82 offense in the country (ISU) and the #98 offense (Gophers) are not going to strike fear into very many defensive coordinators.

Problem is that we just got Tech at the wrong time. It would have been nice to play them towards the end of the season because they fell apart in November.

Except for Kansas

Goes to show how important a head coach can be...
Re: Minnesota vs. Texas Tech (Meineke Car Care Bowl)
Glad to see TT and the Big12 win this one. I thought Kill and staff totally outcoached TT until they got greedy and called for the long pass play with 50 seconds to go. Not sure what they were thinking.
MN has a nice young QB who played a good game for the most part. Was surprised the refs didn't throw MN's thug OL out of the game.
