I hate that announcers even have to discuss whether teams will be motivated to play in bowl games. Isn't the whole point of competition that you get motivated (and then win)?

Boykin should give the Spartans a whole lot of trouble.

If a team can't get excited for a bowl game, they deserve to lose. I'm hoping Boykin goes 200+ passing, 100+ running, 3 TDs. Sparty struggled with spread QBs this year.

Agreed. Boykin is a nightmare who keeps improving. Sparty is in trouble tonight.

You can tell TCU's offense was a little too hyped up right off the bat. If they settle down, I think they will be just fine.

They are young as a team. Not looking forward to playing them the next couple years.

Fields is going to be a problem for Big 12 QB's over the next 2 years (I don't seem him staying for this senior season).

I agree, but do you know who I am looking forward to playing next year? West Virginia. They lose a ton on offense, and while their defense has to improve some, I think it's still going to be average at best.
