No one is this thread has said that though.

I was just in the "It's either us or Kansas" thread when I read ZJohnson's post.

People are saying we have a chance for 2nd, which is right. Nobody has said that it is given.
Re: West Virginia at Texas
Also, it really amazes me the number of people that think the Big 12 is any good this year.

4-0 should happen.
First off, don't tell me I don't know what I am talking about. Second, you used the word "should" this time. Of course we should beat those teams, I am not saying we shouldn't and won't. All I was saying is that guaranteeing or saying no way we lose any of the next four is asinine.

There are three terrible teams in this conference, TTU, TCU and WVU. Once Texas gets Kabongo back, I think anyone could beat any team on their home floor. I don't think it's as down as people think. The top 7 teams are solid. We could finish in 2nd if we played like we did tonight.

Not really. Kansas is good. OSU and Baylor should be good, but aren't. Then there are 3 teams that are up and down (OU, KSU and ISU). 2 teams that are bad (WVU and Texas) and 2 teams that are absolutely horrible (TTU and TCU).
Come tourney time, it's probably a 4-team conference.

Texas is pretty bad and I am not sure how much getting Kabongo back will help. They have a lot of problems. Also, after seeing OU this year I would say they are not very good. Also I have not been all that impressed with OSU and KSU although they both do have a nice win or two.

Agree that Texas is real bad right now. I'm not saying they will be a NCAA tournament team when they get Kabongo back but they should be much more competitive.

they might be more competitive, but will it make up for their losses to a D2 team, a 6-9 USC, and a bad WVU team...we'll see.

I think the conference is WAY down. I don't remember a time in the last 10 years where, besides Kansas, there really weren't any other teams you'd really classify as definitely above-average. It's a good thing for us but there's no way I'm going to be arguing conference-strength with any other fans in other conferences this year, makes you look dumb.

If ISU is not at the very least 4-2 through their first 6, I'll be disappointed, and I said this before the game last night.
