What are your thoughts and predictions on this one?

KSU seems legit and KU has looked vulnerable since conference play started. The stat that sticks out for me though is KU 22 - KSU 2 in Bramlage Coliseum games. Compare that 8% winning percentage with ISU's 46% winning percentage against KU at Hilton. Until they can win the big games there against KU I can't pick 'em with a straight face.

KSU with the upset. We beat Texas Tech tomorrow and KSU Saturday. Voila! ISU is tied for 1st in the conference.

I am not sure who I want to win. KSU coming off a loss may be more motivated, but a win also means they are probably better than I thought. For the sake of having a chance to win the Big 12, KU needs to lose on the road to teams like KSU. In regards to ISU simply making the tournament, we also need more than KU to be thought highly of. Even with a loss here, KU has the capital to be a highly ranked team.

If ISU ends up the only team in the Big 12 to beat KU it will certainly help ISU's resume. It certainly won't be considered a fluke either since ISU also almost got them at PA.

If ISU wins out and KU only loses at Hilton they are tied for the conference championship. It is a steep climb for the Cyclones, but KU doesn't have to be beat by anyone else for ISU to still have a chance at a piece of the conference crown at this point. They still control their own path to the Big 12 championship.

Blame WOI, theyve decided to only carry it on 5.2 (which i assume means SD, at least its SD if you get it on mediacom), despite it being a big 12 conference game. You can get this game on regular tv in phoenix or la crosse, but not in a market 15 minutes from a big 12 institution.

I've watched KSU play a few times and I think they are too reliant on one guy. Same reason I think we will be successful against them. KU will contain Magruder and KSU won't be able to keep up. KU by 12.

If WOI did preempt the premiere, the network execs would ultimately thank the powers that be at WOI for saving them the embarrassment (in that market at least) of airing another trainwreck of a show.
