I get it but he sure looks like a long shot. Just because you are 7 ft tall doesnt mean you a good BB player.
You are basing your judgement off of two games against ISU. The kid has potential to be a solid NBA player. A seven footer who can shoot the mid to long range shots as well as rebound will always get a shot in the NBA.
Austin is a prime example of why stars and rankings don't mean that much. He was the #1 center and I think #5 for the recruiting class. Is he a great ball player? Yeah, and a great prospect for the pros. But, he is a one-and-done. I would rather have the much lower ranked Niang because he will probably be a 3-4 year (ok, most likely 4) guy and isn't just here to wait until he can jump to the league.
Niang looked MUCH better tonight, and he'll be coming back for another year. Just another highly rated Baylor player that does not develop or improve under Scott Drew. Don't understand why these guys go there...(just kidding, I know why $$$).
