As far as i'm concerned, KSU won the conference outright. Those officials in the KU-ISU game were not only handing KU the win over us, but handed them the share of the championship (and this is a big part of how theyve been able to keep their championship streak alive)
All the calls KU gets in conferance come back to haunt them most years in the big dance. They don't have to learn to be tough. Once they see adversity they aren't able to cope on thier own. In the long run it hurts KU and the conferance. The Big 12 needs to address this for its long term health in basketball and also in football.
Let them have their moment. Baylor had it last year, this year KSU. Next year it will be us.
Meanwhile, we are going into tournaments knowing that we have a higher ceiling and can beat better teams than KSU, we just have to not slip up. KSU got where they are by beating the teams they should beat and losing to the better teams. ISU would have won the conference outright if we didn't keep slipping up against teams we know we are better than.
