Selling your team to the Devil????

Has anyone else noticed that out of Kansas States 29 commits, that 17 of them are Jucos.....I mean wow, talk about trying to win now, you think Ron Prince is feeling the pressure????

Wonder how Blake Slaughter feels now that they've recruited 3 jc linebackers that get to start in front of him for at least 2 years. I would be curious now that we have Ferguson and Hamlin if we would even be interested in another backer although Slaughter was an inside backer, he looked awesome in the rivals highlight tape, fast, good reads and textbook tackling.....

Just curious how they handle recruiting these guys once they commit. Do they go off our board or do they still contact they from time to time to ensure that commit is solid in lieu of new developments: recruits, friends, coaching changes etc....

That is how they get players to Manhattan - they only have to stay for two years.

After a 5-7 season and convincing losses to Fresno State and Iowa State down the stretch, I'm sure Mr. Prince is a little uneasy right now. Good thing for him that the state of Kansas has the best football juco system in the country but that's way too many jucos for one class. I can see bringing 8-10 but 17 is ridiculous.

Prince lost 6 coaches and a weight coach before last yeaar. He has only lost two coaches so far since the regular season. It is my way or the highway in Manhattan.

They have some of the best juco programs in the country in Kansas. Might as well take advantage of them. But, 17 is a lil crazy.
Im sure their fans would rather have mad turnover every 2 years, than go back to being 1-10 every year.

Blake will likely redshirt and be a freshman during those Juco's senior years. He could be starting as a Sophmore. Its the future classes he should watch. Plus if he has any talent, it shouldnt matter who they bring in. If they are good they will play.
