I will say if the SEC came up with that ticket strategy, smart move by Iowa State to copy the SEC when it comes to football and sales. -

Wake Forest did it last year, with Nebraska coming to town. The telecast said that the Husker fans bought something like 1500-2000 of those season tickets.

Just like the Iowa game, I'm sure in previous years no one was able to get a single ticket for the OU/OSU game without having a season ticket to begin with. These big rivalry games are sold out by season ticket holders before regular single tickets go on sale. The real result is that season ticket holders can no longer buy extra tickets to the game for their friends.

Very comparable to ours at $58.33. Interesting.
That is NOT comparable because they have 1 more home game.

Small stadium.... cheap tickets= a big hill to climb toward fund raising.
