OK State follows our lead (ticket policy)
Re: OK State follows our lead (ticket policy)
Good find.
I don't believe we were the first to do that - but it is neat to see others giving ISU credit for something.
Re: OK State follows our lead (ticket policy)
Just shows what a good move it was that others are jumping on the bandwagon.
Re: OK State follows our lead (ticket policy)
I see their ticket prices are $419 for 7 games ($59.85 per game).
Very comparable to ours at $58.33. Interesting.
Re: OK State follows our lead (ticket policy)
We were the first to do it in the Big 12 - I know some SEC schools have done it before.

Holy crap, $85 for single game tickets to conference games and $60 for non-conference games. You'd have to shell out $60 to watch OSU take on Troy and Missouri State. That seems a bit steep to me.

You have to remember though that the media in the state of Iowa predicted this would be a failure because their precious Iowa fan readership (man that's an oxymoron - an Iowa fan that can read...) would either have to pony up the money for a season ticket or be forced to watch on TV. You thought the Iowa-biased media would actually report on something without Iowa bias?

Check out the seating chart for Boone Pickens Stadium, specifically the donation levels. You can get seats on the 50-yard line on the home side for a donation of $800. Those same seats in JTS would be a minimum donation of $5000.

Re: OK State follows our lead (ticket policy)
That is a bit odd. But then again, OSU has a sugar daddy and we don't.
Re: OK State follows our lead (ticket policy)
I noticed that they have a payment option for season tickets.

Damn, their donation levels are cheap! Their fans would crap if they had to be brought up to our levels. Man it must be nice to have a Pickens subsidize their program like that!BTW, I'll bet OU fans are ******.

Imagine that ...... the hawk loving media getting something wrong concerning ISU. Who'da thunk it?
Re: OK State follows our lead (ticket policy)
those oklahoma donation levels are per seat... and those 800 per seat tickets extend all the way to the 250 level for two seats at isu...
