Per Omaha World herald tonight:

Actually KSU had a higher class rating than KU.

Nebraska was only 5th in Big 12.

A&M slipped a little at the end. Texas should have done better.

Oklahoma beat out Texas and CU was close behind.

ISU was dead last in the conference both Scouts and Rivals at #58 and #62.

Oh well, Dan was usually in the 50s. Not much change. Too many one and two stars kept us from getting a higher average.

Nebraska grabbed 27 because they milk the numbers and work the grayshirts. NU has 18 walkons also.

I think Dan's classes were usually higher rated because of the Juco's he brought in. Guys like Walter nickle and the Fischer twins raised average rankings of classes that were otherwise full of un-touted (not necessarily un talented though) underclassmen. To get to this point without several juco's inflating it is a big deal to me.
