The overall rating might not be high, but this was a nice class.

To me they just admitted their ranking is just a number - ISU's class should be evaluated deeper than just the star count on the paper.

The classes should be evaluated on talent, but also on needs that are filled.

I especially liked the part where they didn't bash the class based on "star" level or on standing within the conference based on the "stars".

Coach Chizik just got the best players to fill the needs we had, with an eye to developing "diamonds", instead of chasing "stars".
