    Is KSU falling apart?

Another loss. It looks like the rest of the team is tierd of Beasley getting all the attention. There were time tonight they didnt even pass the ball to Beasley and were taking stupid shots. Walker allows his temper to get the best of him and commits stupid fouls. The KSU fans are not very good in the basketball IQ dept. I hope others dont think our fans are that way.

Ya know how Texas seems to be better post-Durant?

I'll take all of my credits and put 'em on KSU not matching that in '08/'09.

Can't wait to see Beasley and Walker go to the NBA. Without them they aren't that good, maybe not even as good as we will be next year.

They have plenty of talent but Frank Martin can't coach his way out of a wet paper bag. Next year after Walker and Beasley are gone they'll be awful and Marting will be out.

KSU will be a lot worse post-Beasley

They have two 4-star recruits verballed for 2009. They look like they will fit in at K-State.

    Re: Is KSU falling apart?

KSU is nothing more than a media darling. Their conference record is beginning to look suspect as the Big 12 may be showing it's true colors - mediocre. Any team from a BCS school with the same overall record - sans Beasley - wouldn't even get a vote in the polls.

    Re: Is KSU falling apart?

Even if those 2 four stars happen to be as good as Beas and Walker, they still have Martin as a coach, and will be no more than middle of the pack ever. I think Martin is proving that. We had 2 studs and a bunch of role players, and won the conference by almost going undefeated in the conference with a good coach. They have 2 studs and a bunch of role players and are currently 8-5 and on the verge of not making the tourney.

I'm not going to downplay KSU too much since they still have a good record, and you know, pretty much handed it to us. What I couldn't help but think tonite, though was that I don't think Rick Barnes gets enough credit for being a really good coach.
