Do they ever get a crowd there? Its bad when the coach has to go in and start the remodeling of the Basketball complex. Their coach seems like a good guy and good coach its just too bad the rest of the athletic dept and fans are not behind him.

Their coach seems like a good guy and good coach its just too bad the rest of the athletic dept and fans are not behind him. What I don't get is that they always seem to have good talent there. I never thought that Ricardo Patton or his predecessor (name is escaping me) did much in the way of coaching them, but there have been plenty of NBA or near NBA quality players go through there.
Speaking of Ricardo, I saw he is now the coach at Northern Ill. They were doing a news report on the bball game and the healing that is taking place after the shooting. There were even less fans there than at CU. Ricardo ought to feel right at home. I know that they have had a rough month at NIU but I would have thought that at least a few people would have shown up for the game. |
