Huskers odd football schedule...

Nebraska plays 8 home games and only 4 on the road. Here's their schedule:
Western Michigan HOME
San Jose State HOME
New Mexico St. HOME
Virginia Tech HOME
Mizzou HOME
Texas Tech Away
Iowa State Away
Baylor HOME
Oklahoma Away
Kansas HOME
K State Away
Colorado HOME

They certainly have the schedule going for them. I see loses for the Huskers:
Virginia Tech
Mizzou
Texas Tech
Iowa State
Kansas
Colorado
That's 6-6, any other thoughts?

I see a similar record. Their fans seem to think Bo will have them winning 7+ games next year and I really don't see it. They need to prove that they can stop somebody first. Va Tech, Texas Tech, Missouri, and Oklahoma are sure losses. I think Iowa State, Kansas, K-State and Colorado can go either way.

Re: Huskers odd football schedule...

Didn't the Huskers have 6 home games in a row last year?

Nothing odd about that schedule. They are loaded for home games every year.

Re: Huskers odd football schedule...

Kansas played a similar schedule last year I believe...8 home games. Although the 8th was the "home game' against Missouri at Arrowhead.

Yeah, don't know if the pinkshirts will be able to stop that high-powered offense!

Re: Huskers odd football schedule...

Not a lot new there with the Huskers with a lot of home games and many of them in a row. Their first road game in '06 was when they played us I think.

Re: Huskers odd football schedule...

I would give them 5-7 wins next year. 7 would be pretty good considering what they put on the field for a defense last year.
