He will be going pro this year. He has the most NBA game of anybody on his team. He is silky smooth on the basketball court and has the best jumper on the team as well. Hasn't shot well in the tourney? He went 11-17 against UNC while scoring 25. He led Kansas in scoring and rebounding throughout the tourney. Don't forget that he plays some solid D.

I am not sold on Rush at ALL. He can't handle the ball very well. And his shooting is streaky...he can hit some, but then airball. Reminds me a lot of Rashon Clark...damn good college player, but he really needs polish to be a decent NBA player. Just not a very aggressive offensive talent.
The games I've watched, Rush scored most of his points off of garbage putbacks, alley-oops and cuts to the lane. Once in awhile he'll get hot from 3, but not enough for a starting NBA SG.

I was surprised how bad he can look handling the ball at times throughout this year. When he is stroking it, like against UNC, he looks great, but other games when he doesn't hit anything he looks to be pretty bad.

Rush is gone, he is 23 or 24 and off knee surgery, so no turning back for him.
I expect Arthur will go pro, he is considered a lottery pick likely.
Chalmers is the big question. He is a stud, no doubt about that, but he is a tweener in the NBA and may be too short. His stock will probably not be any higher next year than now, so I would not be surprised to see him go.
If they all go, KU will be beatable next year. Collins will be a stud. Aldrich will be a good big man but this year they have 4 good big men so that will still be a major drop off. Their freshman coming in look good but not one and done or All big -12 as freshman good.
They should be beatable next year. Of course, we need to land a couple spring recruits first and keep the rest of the players on the team.

So I was right, Rush was considering the draft last year. His knee wasn't the only reason he pulled out. If you looked at the draft projections, he wasn't going in the first round for sure. Second, when I said he didn't shoot well, I meant from 3-point land. He shot 34% from behind the arc in the tourney, which is not very impressive in my opinion.

He was considered a borderline lottery pick at the time.
As for him not being a good 3 point shooter... he didn't shoot great during the tournament. But his career 3 point percentage is 43.5%, which would put him #1 in ISU's basketball history. Jake would be #2 at 42.4.
I'd love some three point shooters who don't shoot well that would end up being our all time career leader in percentage. But that's just me.

i love all the hope that they will beatable..if so we have alot to improve. We thought we had a shot this year and really didn't play well. I hope our team turns the corner but thinking the national champ is going to beatable might be a stretch. We are going to need someone to step up and be the leader of the team and giong to need some huge improvments from cb and at

If Rush played on a different team he would probably look better in my opinion.
He is a bit of a streaky shooter, and he would benefit from being the dominant option on a college team. When he gets in a rhythm - look out. The balance that Kansas has means that he doesn't have to take over games.
He has great athleticism for his size, is a very good 3 point shooter, and I was very impressed by his defense in the tournament. Say what you will, but he is a very solid NBA prospect.

have you ever got caught outside In a strong rainfall? Yes or NO. If it"s yes, then you might half felt the pane of hard(tought) rain on you head. If it hurt"s then it"s tough. Yes or no. Okay I'm right and you know it.
So alothough you attempt"ed to say you didn"t understnad, now you do. Fair enough?

Unfortunately, I think Kansas will be pretty good again next year. They have a very talented class coming in.

I think they will be good, but the new class will have to learn to play together. The team we saw on the floor this year had alot of time together and experience. Next year is as good year to attack if you are another team with experience.

Your opinion appears to be based on the games you watched. Rush is a career 43.5% shooter from 3pt range. That's pretty damn good. By comparison, Rahshon Clark shot 33.9% and Jake Sullivan shot 42.4% during their careers. Brandon Rush | NCAA Basketball at CBSSports.com | | |
