Rush is my favorite non- ISU player. He plays the game the way it should be played. He could average 20/game if he wanted, but he is a team player. He hits threes, is a shut down defender, picks up garbage, and can play above the rim. I think he will be a Tayshaun Prince-like player in the NBA.

Rush played GREAT defense on Stephen Curry, chasing him all over. He does seem like the ultimate TEAM guy, willing to do whatever it takes to win. People don't understand why he doesn't try to score 20 a game but when you have a team like that you don't need to. I have no doubt he will have a LONG NBA career.

Brandon Rush is easily the smoothest player in college basketball... he just makes everything look so amazingly easy and effortless...
as for next year, they may be contending for a national title again, think about it... they will probably have another very good pre-conference play record, then another good big 12 season, as well as a good shot to win the tourny, which will very easily give them a 1 or 2 seed... they get put in the right bracket, and they get hot at the right time again, they could do it again, even with less talent... now if it will happen, doubt it, but its a possibility...

I think the list of people NOT going pro this year will be shocking. There are soooo many guys that I hear are going pro. FYI. Theres only 60 draft spots.

I think that Kevin Love will be one of those guys not going pro. He seemed to really want to win a championship. HAnsbourough may be one too.

They won't ever be able to play together but at least they can practice together for a year...

I've seen myself play. I'd pick Rush ahead of me. |

Rush is possibly the best on man defender in the conference, if not the country. How many times did CDR have to fight only to end up with jump shots on Monday night (even though CDR finished with his points, there wasn't one easy one - and it was Rose that got Memphis the lead in the 2nd half). Rush knows how to go hard to the hole, finishes well, only takes good shots, doesn't force anything... trust me, it'd be stupid for him not to go pro, even though the depth of this years' draft is crazy and he'll only be somewhere between 16-28 in terms of draft pick. As much as I love Clark and appreciated his efforts, he is not in Rush's class in terms of athlete/scorer/etc.
Arthur is probably gone too, especially after the way he handled the paint all tourney long, plus 20 and 10 in the championship...
Chalmers will test but come back, and he was probably their best offensive player all year... he and Collins will make the best guard duo in the Big XII, if not the country next year. KU favored to win Big XII again next year...
Oh and Love and Collison are reportedly going to NBA now (for the person above who thought Love would come back) ESPN - UCLA center Love, guard Collison reportedly to turn pro - NBA | "People tend to overestimate what they can achieve in a year, but underestimate what they can achieve in a lifetime. I think the only way KU doesn't win (or at least finish in the top 3) in the Big 12 next season, is if Self bolts for OSU.

Won't happen either - they're already working on another extension and pay increase for him - he'll get about 2.25 mil i'm guessing per season now - which offsets the 3 that OSU would give him, because he's at a better job...
