Kansas next year, LOL

ok, so they lose Robinson, kaun, case, stewart,Jackson for sure.
I'm willing to be that rush, chalmers, and arthur go pro. How good do u guys think they will be next year. If they get another class like the chalmers, rush class I dont even know what I'm gonna do. Hopefully this can allow us to beat Kansas next year, maybe. And self could be gone. I really hope Boone pickens donates a billion dollars to okie state. So osu can get self

They have a freshman center (Aldrich) that is going to be really good. They also are going to have Appelton, and whoever choses to stay. I think they will be just fine, not as good as this group has been but they will be just fine.

Re: Kansas next year, LOL

I think Rush will still be there, I think it would be in his best interest to not enter the draft this year. I am sure they got great players not seeing much time and freshmen coming in that will be able to contribute, but if Chalmers and/or Arthur go pro I think they will lose too much too be nearly as good next year.

Appleton and Collins will suit them just fine in the backcourt. I'm guessing Rush will go pro, as he probably only came back because he hurt his knee.

Chalmers will not be going pro, in my opinion. Rush and Arthur have NBA-ready games. They will still be solid next season but this season's group was special.

I think Rush will come back. He and Aldrich are better than any two players on our team. They won't win the national championship next year, but they will still be better than us.

I don't want Self to leave. If he leaves and goes to Okie State then they will be good as well in the future. If he leaves Kansas the Jayhawks will fill his void with another good coach and they will be good. So instead of one good team, then you would have two for us to try and beat.

Re: Kansas next year, LOL

Rush wanted to leave last year, and pretty much every KU fan considers him gone. I don't know if Chalmers' draft position is going to get upgraded that much - he's a 6'1" combo guard. After making that huge shot this might be his best chance at the league and he and Rush are best buddies and will probably declare together.

IMO, you're looking at them losing all the seniors plus Arthur, Rush, and Chalmers. I honestly think it's a no brainer. This isn't Florida the last two years, that doesn't happen often.

As for how good they will be next year, I think they'll win the league next year again easily unless Augustine comes back. The whole Big 12 will be down and the Big 12 North will still be really down. They bring in Little and Appleton, the Morris Twins, Releford, and Thomas who will help rebounding.

They return Aldrich, and Collins which is as good of a 1-2 punch in the league next year, and they have other talented Kids on the roster (Reed, Teahan). Can all the incoming talent gel in time for the season? I don't know, but I still think they'll be the favorite next year.

I'm 90% certain Rush is gone. He was widely rumored to be leaving last year, but tore his ACL and decided to return to KU since his draft value diminished so much.

Re: Kansas next year, LOL

Do you remember that one game that Sherron Collins dominated Rose, a future lottery pick. Me too.
And how many McDonalds All-Americans did we have coming off the bench for us this year?
Kansas is still going to be very very good next year. Not National Championship good, but dominating the Big XII good.

Kansas has the number 1 recruiting class coming in next year according to some services. They will be just fine.

Re: Kansas next year, LOL

Rush has been considering going pro for the last year or two. I wouldn't be surprised if he actually tries it this year. I don't know if he is ready. He really did not shoot well the entire tournament. He's athletic and has good size, but still could use some work on his shot.

KU is a lot like Ohio State football. 1/2 the team leaves and you have potential all-conference players waiting in the wings to replace them so the program rarely skips a beat. Collins and Aldrich are 2 pretty good players to build on. Both would have started on a lot of teams this year.
