what was that ref looking at on Cato's block?? same thing could be said when Pratt fell on the guy's leg. still an awesome win. don't get me started when Jacy was pushed Jordanesquely out of bounds by Dollar or who ever that was.

I see those players and it really reminds of some great teams ISU had. Hopefully there are a lot more teams like that to come.
If there was a poll of the top 10 ugliest players, Bankhead would be somewhere around 4 or 5.

Awesome clip. So Shirley and Stevie Johnson were both on that sweet 16 and then the later elite eight teams.
I forgot to mention, Cato looked huge in that clip. I think I took for granted that we would always have a solid center in the days of Loren Meyer and Cato.

In some ways it's hard to believe that was 11 years ago. That was a darn fun team to watch.

thanks for the memories... I loved watching that game... and then watching Iowa lose to cinci the following year... made my decade.
I see these sort of things in our future... with Coach Mac.

That team was one of the first I remember. A great group that should have gone further than they did. They always seemed to find a way to win games. Too bad Tim Floyd had to leave for Chicago.
